Bas adaat hogayee

Bewafai ki yeh inteha ho gayi,
ki tujhse juda hokar bhi jeeney ki aadat hogayee...

Tum laut ke aaoge humse milne,
roz dil ko behlane ki aadat hogayee...

Tere waade pe kya bharosa kiya humney,
ki shab bhar tera intezaar karney ki aadat hogayee...

Khushi mein bhi hum kya muskurate,
ki teri judaai mei rone ki aadat hogayee...

Kaafile nikal gaye humein chhor ke,
ki ab to tanhaa safar ki aadat hogayee...

Har mor par mili ghum ki parchhaiyaan,
zindagi se samjhota karne ki aadat hogayee....

Jaante the ki nahi ho saktey kabhi tum hamare,
phir bhi khuda se tujhe maangne ki aadat hogayee...

Paiman-e-wafaa kya hai humey kya maloom,
ki bewafaaon se dil laganey ki aadat hogayee...

Hasrat

Hasrat hai sirf unhe pane ki, Aur koi khwahish nahin is deewane ki. Shikwa mujhe unse nahin, khuda se hai, Kya zarurat thi unhe itna khoobsurat banana ki.
